Of course there may be others, but let us make it clear, that UBC also produces Ptr. Henry Cabalang!
Don't ask me where are they now? You are not the Caller!
But I ask you to think of these:
How many souls were led to the Lord by these pastors? How many disciples do they get?
How many churches were planted?
How many other pastors became pastor because of their ministry?
Countless! Only because UBC then lives to its calling!
UBC is indeed a university! A great haul of fish in a particular era made “UBC the largest Southern Baptist church in the Philippines” – Catalino Pamplona
Was it because the church during those times threw the net at the right-hand side of the boat? I will say yes! Yes, they threw the net at the right-hand side of the boat.
Luke 5:4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 Simon answered and said, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but [b]I will do as You say and let down the nets.” 6 When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;
What is at the right-hand side of the boat?
Not only obedience but faith!
If we take up any other method we depart altogether from the methods laid down by Our Lord – “All power is given unto Me . . , therefore go ye.”

- Believe
- Obey!
