WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE A WHITE CHRISTMAS?
Luke 2:10-11
- The ‘Cuteness’ of Christmas
- Santa Claus, Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Lanterns, Bibingka, Puto Bumbong, Keso de Bola, Simbang Gabi, Exchange Gifts, Christmas carols, Christmas parties, decors, etc.
- If we believe this is what Christmas is all about, its cute!
- Cute yet men are of acute sorrows (The reason for the coming of the Cure)
- “Sorrow all day long because of enemy’s oppression” – Ps. 13:2
- “Life is spent with sorrow because of adversaries” – Ps. 31:10-11
- “Many are the sorrows of the wicked” – Psalm 32:10
- “The people are walking in darkness” – Isaiah 9:1; 59:10-15
- “You are slaves of the one whom you obey” –PAUL Rom. 6:16
- by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved” –PETER 2Pet.2:19
- “the one who practices sin is of the devil” –JOHN IJohn3:8
- “Everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin” –JESUS John 8:34
With that background, the first Christmas was not cute…indeed it’s an all-out war with Satan!
Because the men with acute sorrows cannot break free by their own strength!
From the Cuteness of Christmas… to the Nearness of God

Life becomes more complicated because we are trying to cure the wrong “diseases” when the only thing needed is to address the cause of Blue Christmas! SIN
“Come now, and let us reason together, Says the Lord, Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18
This is the true White Christmas!
