• Lot was spiritually, economically, and socially rich.
  
• Lot allowed the opportunity of spiritual greatness to pass him by in small, near-insignificant doses. 
• Lot looked toward Sodom. He also camped near Sodom. 
• They moved into the city and they became part of that horrible society (Genesis 19). 
• Because of his life of compromise, his family members mocked his efforts to get them out of Sodom 
• Lot maintained a personal righteousness recognized by the Holy Spirit but the tragedy is that his power and influence as a godly witness failed at a critical point. 
• How important for us to recognize the importance of a consistent Christian witness.
