- Lot was spiritually, economically, and socially rich.
- Lot allowed the opportunity of spiritual greatness to pass him by in small, near-insignificant doses.
- Lot looked toward Sodom. He also camped near Sodom.
- They moved into the city and they became part of that horrible society (Genesis 19).
- Because of his life of compromise, his family members mocked his efforts to get them out of Sodom
- Lot maintained a personal righteousness recognized by the Holy Spirit but the tragedy is that his power and influence as a godly witness failed at a critical point.
- How important for us to recognize the importance of a consistent Christian witness.
